| 19 June 2019 | Deadline for Union Award, Medal and Prize selection committee’s to submit recommendations for the Council Leadership Team review and approval. |
| July 2019 | Council Leadership Team meets to discuss and approve the Union Award, Medal and Prize selection committee’s recommendations for 2019. |
| 22 August 2019 | AGU officially announces the 2019 Union Award, Medal and Prizes recipients. |
