Fred Whipple Lecture

The Whipple Lecture honors the life and work of astronomer, Fred Whipple. This Planetary Sciences section named lecture is presented annually by the Whipple awardee during their award presentation year at the AGU Fall Meeting. The Bowen Lecture is webcast and made available as an archived presentation on the AGU website.

The Whipple Lecture is presented by the Whipple awardee during their award presentation year – nominations are not accepted.
