Keiiti Aki Young Scientist Award

Basic Information

Established in 2008, the Keiiti Aki Young Scientist Award is given annually to an outstanding, early career seismologist in recognition of scientific accomplishments in the field of seismology. Eligible candidates have been awarded the degree of Ph.D. (or highest equivalent terminal degree) in the three-year period prior to 1 January of the year of the award presentation. The evaluation of the candidates will be based on the quality of papers arising from Ph.D. thesis work, or work done shortly prior to the award of Ph.D. (or highest equivalent terminal degree).

In recognition of scientific accomplishments in the field of seismology.
